French clockmaker ODO was known for producing mechanical clocks throughout much of the 20th century. But as technology evolved, so did the clocks. By the 1960s and 1970s, transistor-powered movements offered an alternative to traditional wind-up mechanisms, combining electronic technology with good old-fashioned clockmaking. Turbo magnifique!!
And this particular ODO certainly embraced the colourful side of the 1970s. Twelve black circles, bold white numerals and contrasting hands, all packed into a rounded rectangular case. A fantastic little piece of French retro design that looks just as good on a bookshelf as it does on your bedside table. Extremely magnifique!
