A 1970s design staple! A globe table lamp featuring an opaline white glass sphere on a glossy orange metal base.
Globe lamps became a familiar sight in interiors throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Designers embraced geometric shapes, colourful finishes and materials that transformed everyday lighting into more playful pieces of interior design. Why settle for a boring lampshade when you could have an entire glowing sphere?
And that's exactly what we love about this lamp. No unnecessary details, just a perfectly round glass globe sitting on an orange pedestal. Proof that sometimes all you need are balls.
Oh, and there's a knight. An orange knight, to be precise. You might have spotted him in the pictures. He's not included with the lamp, but throw some extra cash our way and you might just take home an orange knight as well.
Condition: Great vintage condition with visible signs of age and use.
Dimensions (H × W × D): 20 × 13 × 13 cm
Era: 1970s
Material: Painted metal, glass globe
Bulb: E27
