Alpina Bumper Cal. 582 Rensie "Breguet Numerals"
Alpina, a favorite brand of mine which you might have concluded looking around this website. At here once again the proof of why I love early Alpina. A early stainless steel screw back case from around 1940. Elegantly designed lugs and a raised bezel. And within that case is sitting a wonderful non-luminous dial with Breguet numerals and leaf hands. These are the prime aesthetics when collecting the sexiest watches ever made!
Also great to have is the early bumper movement by Alpina. For 1940 it’s wayyyy ahead of it’s time.
Stunning feature number 8? It’s double signed with the name Rensie.
The watch has some signs of wear and slight patina to the dial. Nonetheless still very wearable and collectible.
